A mother of four young children was a passenger in a one truck rollover killing the mother. Both the driver and the mother were extremely intoxicated. The case was settled two weeks before trial for a present value of $325,000.

A car accident ultimately resulting in neck surgery. This case was complicated by the fact that the client had severe neck arthritis predating the accident. Case settled for $137,500 plus medical bills.
Case 5: Facial Scar
Teenage male was passenger in a car when the driver lost control of the car. Client hits his head on windshield, breaking his nose and resulting in a large scar on his forehead. Client also had a problem with sinus infections. Settled for the maximum amount of insurance available – $105,000.
Case 6: Dog Attack
Large dog chased client. Client fell spraining an ankle and breaking a leg near the knee resulting in surgery. Case settled for $85,000 (homeowner’s policy).
Case 7: Drunk Driver
Drunk driver smashed into client’s vehicle. Client had a permanent scar near the hairline on forehead. Client also had same day surgery to remove a piece of scar tissue in her arm. Insurance company offered client $2,500 plus medical bills to settle. After developing the case, filing suit and negotiating with the two insurance companies involved, the case was settled for $40,000 plus the medical bills, 16 times the offer made by the insurance company before we were hired.
